A living natural material – a unique piece with a history:

Teak wood is a living material. Although the wood is dried, it can still expand, contract, and form cracks due to changes in temperature and humidity. This characteristic is part of the unique charm and authenticity of solid wood furniture. These effects can be minimized by controlling the humidity and temperature of the environment.

The natural grain of the teak wood with its warm brown tones and characteristic patterns makes each piece unmistakable. Slight color variations between the illustrations and the actual product are possible and underscore the handcrafted nature.

Sculptural design:

The four organically shaped legs of the Shizen are crafted from solid teak wood and are reminiscent of natural forms – stones, roots, or vessels. The curved, bulbous shapes create a fascinating interplay of light and shadow and give the piece a sculptural presence that enriches any room.
