Velvet may have spot and stripe marks. Flattened nap is also a common phenomenon. This is not to be considered a defect. To raise flattened nap, reduce spot or stripe marks we advise you to make the fabric slightly damp with steam (without touching the fabric) and then use a soft brush to raise the nap.
